Office Policies
These general guidelines help us provide a safe, respectful and well-organized environment for patients, visitors and clinic staff.
Clinic guidelines
- Appointments
- Please contact the clinic directly for appointment information. Appointment type, length and availability depend on the provider and the reason for the visit.
- Cancellations and late arrivals
- If you cannot attend an appointment or expect to be late, please notify the clinic as soon as possible. Late arrival may affect whether the appointment can proceed as scheduled.
- Prescription renewals
- Please plan ahead when requesting a prescription renewal. A clinical assessment or appointment may be required before a prescription can be renewed.
- Respectful environment
- Versa Health Medical is committed to a safe and respectful environment. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or violent behaviour toward patients, visitors or staff will not be accepted.
- Scent-aware clinic
- Some patients and staff experience sensitivities to fragrances. Please avoid wearing strongly scented products when visiting the clinic.
- Email and privacy
- Ordinary email may not be secure and is not appropriate for urgent concerns or detailed personal health information. Email responses may not be immediate.
Urgent and emergency care
Versa Health Medical is not an emergency department. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In British Columbia, patients may also call 8-1-1 for non-emergency health information and guidance.
